Our Vision The Black Leadership Forum of Pueblo, Colorado forges collaborative partnerships to empower a corps of competent leaders who facilitate economic opportunities and prosperity, exercise significant influence in the political arenas, nurture fertile resources for growth, encourage African-Americans to live and remain here, and enhance the quality of living for the greater Pueblo communities.
Our Mission and Objectives
The Black Leadership Forum of Pueblo [BLF-P] will leverage the support provided by the El Pomar Foundation to establish a portfolio of common understandings and shared interests among the people of the greater Pueblo communities.
BLF-P primary mission is to take a leadership role and apply the content of its dialogues, discussions and definitions to the development of mutually beneficial solutions for African Americans and Pueblo’s other community members.
Our Objectives:
The BLF-P will use our professional behaviors, skills and expertise to
- Conduct development programs for future leaders;

Identify opportunities for economic success and nurture the growth of those initiatives into tangible realities; [Economic Development],
Form dynamic networks or strategic partnerships with others who share our vision to accomplish important goals; [Strategic Partnerships],
Aggressively support campaigns that improve any socially relevant conditions or our quality of life; [Social Quality of Life],
Be a meaningful, influential voice in the creation of political policies, agenda items or priorities; [Political Influence]
